I want to see BillLaimbeer and Darth face off against each other. What would they do in 3 plate appearances? They can decide who would bat and who would pitch. If they both want to do both, then make it 6 plate appearances, 3 for each. I would probably hit Darth on the first plate appearance, put fear in him. Then, I would easily strike him out with my nasty curve balls on the next two plate appearances.
Good post. Would you pitch in or away? Where's his weak spot?
Now he knows what's coming, and it still might not matter.

If they both want to do both, then make it 6 plate appearances, 3 for each. No need for that. Just look at fantasy football results in 2016 and 2017 2016 ——— Darth - silver medal Laimbeer- NOTHING 2017 ——- Darth- silver medal Laimbeer- NOTHING Need I point out the pattern? 2017 ——- Darth - silver medal Laimbeer- NOTHING
Those are football results. I'm looking for baseball results.

Jerk. I knew you would bring thst up. It was my most miserable yearever, IIRC. I believe that was the yearI totally dominated throughout the entire year winning by 20-30 games and losing onlyone or two weeks.. Your team came out of nowhere in the playoffs, exploded one week while my team choked and I ended up with nothing. That’s when I started souring on fantasy sports. Admittedly,I usually get the better of you in the regular season and invariably your teams rise up when it counts while my team chokes and you beat me in the playoffs every time!

Bump. Also, are they sliders, big break curve balls? 12-6 or another variety?

When it splatters I shudder to think what else is on it… Maybe BillLaimbeer makes scary looking goo for Halloween, and uses that in his outdoor Halloween decorations to make his place look scary. Maybe he keeps leftover goo in a vial, and puts that on the baseball.

In order to save a few bucks on candy he answers the door in a pink and white polka dot speedo and the terrified kids head for the hills without waiting for candy. Sometimes the kids drop their pumpkin buckets and bill cleans up on candy. He also cleans up the puke on his porch. Bl

Bump. Also, are they sliders, big break curve balls? 12-6 or another variety? My curve ball is a big, slow, sweeping one. I will start it at Darth's head and it will tail right over the plate as he is falling down.

The 2nd AL Wild Card team, the Oakland A's, have a better record than every NL team.
I don't think I've ever seen any wild card team have a better record than the entire opposite league, after 1 week.
Maybe it's happened during the first week, if an entire league is 1-1, and the other league's wild card team is 2-0.

Felix Hernandez is sent to the bullpen for the first time in his career.
Even if Seattle makes the playoffs, the possibility of seeing him make a first playoffs start is looking slim.

I don't think Seattle makes the playoffs. The Yankees will get it rolling and Oakland seems to have some sort of magic working.

I don't think Seattle makes the playoffs. The Yankees will get it rolling and Oakland seems to have some sort of magic working. In terms of offense and pitching rankings, Oakland looks like a World Series contender. Ignore the names, just look at the rankings in most stats. It would be a disappointment if they didn't win at least one playoffs series. I thought Felix was going to win his 2nd Cy Young in 2014. I had him on my fantasy team, and one of the fantasy notes late in the year even said "He's pitched XXX this season, in what will soon be known as his 2nd Cy Young season". I haven't seen him pitch very much in his career, so I was looking forward to a playoffs start at some point in these recent years, so I could really watch him. Chris Sale is another guy I haven't seen much of (not counting the ASG). But since he's on the Red Sox, and they're one of the teams I want to watch the least in the playoffs, I don't care as much anymore. During the division round, there's a lot more interesting series to me, anyways.
