There's 3 people left, including BillLaimbeer and I. I can't start a new one until there's a winner in this one. If someone loses early that's tough. They have to wait. I've lost early sometimes in past years and have waited. |

The game continues through the playoffs.
So try to save your SuperBowl winner for the end, and don't pick them in an earlier round.
The picks reset at the start of the playoffs for the managers that are still alive. But after that, pick someone you think will win the wildcard round, but not advance to the SuperBowl.

I went with the Saints... So did I. The trick is to pick a team you think will win a round, but not win the SuperBowl. I don't remember if this was me or someone else, but one year, someone couldn't make a pick for the SuperBowl, because both conference winners had already been picked. |

We all suck pretty bad at this to get so many games in one season.... Yeah, this has definitely been the worst year. I've never had to make a 5th league before. Usually I make 3 or 4 leagues. And even then, the 4th league is late in the season, and before the start of the playoffs. And that last league lasts throughout the playoffs. I don't think I've had to make a new league in the middle of the playoffs. Maybe about 2x, some managers have been so good that I've only needed to make 2 leagues. I believe one year, we had two people still going strong through week 17, before there was a winner. |
