I don't like the default avatar.
I can make a new default avatar, for users that don't upload / create their own.
Any suggestions?
1) A 150x150 image of white space.
2) Something one of you come up with. (150 x 150 pixels).

Also, here's a French NBA website with mascots. I've had it bookmarked for 12 or 13 years. nba-history.pagesperso-orange.fr/mascottes.htmIt's a little outdated, but still good. For example, it has "Jack Nicholson" as the mascot of the Lakers. It doesn't have Chuck The Condor for the Clippers. It has "Thunder" as the mascot for the Warriors, even though the Warriors discontinued that when Seattle moved to OKC. I don't agree with the ranking for Stuff The Magic Dragon.
As for Clutch, sure an alien or an astronaut would make sense. But the mascot doesn't always have to tie into the team name. Look at other sports.
Does Hooper symbolize "horsepower" in any way? That's what the article suggests.

Interesting point that the 2nd article wants a mascot to reflect the team name.
I don't want to put that many restrictions. Again, look at all sports. Some of the mascots don't really tie in with the team name too well.
