Jared Goff is now a Lion.
Not sure what to think. The Lions got someone who the Rams didn't want anymore, and had possibly petered off. But he's won some playoffs games.
From the Rams perspective, they got Stafford, someone who has put up great passing numbers. Hadn't won a playoffs game though. One of those wasn't Stafford's fault completely, as the defense gave up too many points.

I thought Staff had great skills after he threw for ~5K yd and 40 TDs. Then of course the Lion org.
ruins things by letting good coaches go.
Staff never had the angst a leader of a team needs. Everything always seemed copasetic. A guy that just
did his job. Was he tough enough, hell yeah.
--- The Rams seem to be reacting to what the prevailing wages for a very good QB are. They traded up to get
him, a couple of 1st rnd picks and he did get them to a S.B. Now they give up 2 more to get rid of him.
It looks like we're talking a saving of $40M over the next 2 years for the Rams.

Yeah, but the Eagles kept Nick Foles on their roster. They didn't trade him then re-acquire him.
