You aren't the first person to call me big. I was at Burger King the other day and the cashier said "Sorry about your weight." Was that supposed to be punny? How much are you charging THIS year to quit those Laim jokes? This highway ribbery gets worse every season.

Michigan may have found their QB? They gained confidence crushing Rutgers and Minn. and should gain more beating Maryland next week. But we will know more when they play big boys Wis. and OSU the last two weeks.

No. I was serious. With those 6 tiebreaker scenarios I think MSU wins one. A road loss to O and S is done. I really do believe M has a shot. They will beat W although a road game makes it tougher. Obviously O can lose on the road. I think they need S to lose twice though. I wish I COULD cross M or P off the list. Although Penn lost to O &S so maybe they are almost dead. It's all mucked up. The O & S game will help clear it up I THINK. M cannot root for S. And won't root for O. But they need to root harder against S. As an aside, Penn's Franklin has a couple knocks against him but he was a class act on Saturday. Chasing down his players and also giving S credit in the presser. Yep. Class!

I was coming to that realization after seeing the upsets on Sat. Def won't happen. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened with a healthy Speights. If UM beats Wis and OSU, it's definitely a strong season anyway, even if they don't get to the B10 championship game. No whining when you lose 2 in conference games.

If UM beats Wis and OSU, it's definitely a strong season anyway, even if they don't get to the B10 championship game. No whining when you lose 2 in conference games. Agreed. It was a successful year for Michigan State if they lose to Ohio State. I think the expectations are a little higher and also hopefully we can win nine. But I think that well you're right that for Michigan it is nothing to be ashamed of I think that the expectations were a lot higher. I mean, look at your poll. But it would still be a very good year regardless Right now I see it is a two team race with two very dangerous team's waiting in the wings. After Saturday, it will be one team racing for the finish line and three teams fighting for the silver and bronze medal in all likelihood. If Michigan State wins, which is unlikely, or at least more unlikely than likely, Michigan will be on life-support as far as Big Ten champion Hopes. When the year begin I would've been happy to make any bowl. I'll be honest. I want nothing to do with the playoffs. I never want to see Alabama again in my life. At least not against Michigan State although I hate them anyhow because of the coach. If Michigan State can take second place in the East anyhow they will get a good bowl. But, if they tie with Michigan or end up only one game ahead Michigan is going to get the New Year's bowl. The Bowl will see them as the better draw. Which will piss them off and be used for fuel in the fire next season. My Bowl game is the Michigan game. So I can rest easy for a year no matter what happens after this although like I say expectations have changed for my team too. they have already exceeded the original expectations by far. They should have been a non factor after last year. 9-3 would be a great year. Gotta beat Rutgers and at this point I would think Maryland too. I think it was amazing that Michigan State beat Penn State and Michigan. Back to Michigan, O probably wins. If so, I do not see why Michigan cannot win. LWisconsin has not really been tested although they look good and OSU at home...Michigan can take that one it'll be hard though. But this is been a crazy season and I don't not know what will happen. I am not counting any of the four teams in or out.

The big 10 really beats itself up. So many quality teams and the weather acts as a bit of an equalizer. The top 8 teams can all beat each other with a few good breaks. And I really don't like the split between the halves of the conference and the Rutgers-Maryland teams dorking up the vibe of the party.

How's M supposed to get a winning season without a couple 4 dorks to walk through ? Remember the good-ole years when it was just the big 2 STATE and STATE
Looks like M loses the next 2 so State gets the better bowl.
Still I think the B1G[promoters] pulls the biggest bowls outside of the P/Os.

Still I think the B1G[promoters] pulls the biggest bowls outside of the P/Os.M will beat W and maybe even O. But will S lose another to give M the East? Not sure if P figures in? If S is 9-3 and M is 8-4 then M gets the New Years day Bowl. It's about $$ . No promoter wants Dantonio and S over Harbaugh and M. It ain't about "fair". The Outback is a lot better than the Holiday based on the date. and if M wins the last 2 they are shoo-ins for a big 6 Bowl and with late wins over W and O that would be impressive. Michigan 24 Wisconsin. 20

Agreed. That's why I made it a 4 point margin. Michigan has not beat anybody so to speak. Maybe Florida at the beginning of the year if you want to count that. After playing three crappy teams (not that they won't beat Michigan State) they are due for a signature win. They are loaded with confidence right now and I think if Wisconsin were in the east theyvwould have a couple of losses. It is not that I think Michigan is so good. I think they are good. But I do not think Wisconsin has really had i any real challenge and Michigan S defense should hold them. I am not real confident in saying Michigan will win but that is what I think will happen. If for no other reason than that potential he puts them one Lost behind Michigan State at the end of the year so they can bone them by getting the better Bowl game. That's assuming Michigan loses to Ohio State and Michigan State wins their last two. So I expect a formal apology from you in this thread when what I say comes true. You know better than to test my prognostication skills. I went to the wiggles college of swaminess. And how many times did wiggles miss Huh??? He never missed. He just posted his news a couple years too early. Of note, I've said this before. When Bill Davidson's widow took over the team I predicted that somewhere down the line the Pistons were going to sell because she did not want them. I think I set an a couple years. So I was exactly right. However, in the same post I predicted this one coach was going to be the next Best after talk daily. The guy was horrible. I think it was the guy they were laughing at on the bench that one time. Well, you win some you lose some.

I hate it when Liam Is right. Even though it was better for Michigan State . Michigan had the lead on till late third. Great defense by both teams. That is a shame about Peters.
