They look great. I'd think about leaving them up permanently. I learned a new word, pergola. I didn't know there was a word for that, I thought it was just another form of a gazebo. But now I see that pergola has its unique differences. I also didn't know what a swag was. That's cool. Maybe you can learn a new word each day.

Do you think you'll leave them up longterm? Probably take them down in a month or two. Depends on what "the boss" says. Have to wait until she convokes a session with my spring chores.

Ornaments for this year were pineapples and watermelons.
Because I've been eating a lot of those this year. Even in December.
Prior to this year, I don't think I had bought a pineapple since 2014.

Seems like almost every year, I encounter a broken ornament. Whether it's because I drop it, or by some other means.
Today it's an ornament from 2016. I was taking it out from its storage when I saw it was completely shattered.
I tried searching online, can't find it.

Merry Christmas Happy New Year ! all I have is a stem in water for my tree - but it does have a bulb on it.
Nura, you should look into renting a tree. they are reusable
