Pretty scathing review. Mine wasn't tough at all. He did mention the sweetness of the sauce, which is my only gripe.

Would like to see that list but the link isn't working for me. Link works for me. But I'm not a fan of the format where you have to click on "next" for every item on the list. I'll pass on reading/clicking.

Never tried that. I really enjoy most stouts. KBS is the best beer I've had. Highly recommend it if you're in Founders distribution area. Comes out early March most years. I'll come back to this, but I'll list the top stouts and porters I've had another time. I like most beer styles, except for red/amber. It's too much in the middle for me. Although I did find 1 or 2 of those that I like. March - April release. foundersbrewing.com/our-beer/kbs/

I'll wait until the playoffs matchups are set before deciding what game to have it. Wish it could have been during a Pistons playoffs series today.

It's very good. Is it the best I've had? I can't say, because there's a lot of good stouts and porters I've had.
But, I'd have it again.
I'm starting to think that stouts and porters are more agreeable to me, in this sense, compared to IPAs. With IPAs, I like them too, but there's also several I don't like.
Whereas with stouts and porters, even the worst ones, I'll like a little more than the worst IPA.
There's more variance with IPAs, to me.

I'll pass on reading/clicking. Well, after having the KBS, I decided to try your link, even though it involved me clicking "next" 30 times. The only one of those places I've been to is A&W, but not for food, only for drinks. I could still go to an A&W, if you think there's something specific I should try / try again.

Best root beer floats on planet earth can be found at A&W. Ok, it appears there's only 1 variety of Root Beer Float, so that makes it simple. Do I have to get it with the soft serve ice cream? In general, I'm not a fan of whipped cream in drinks or shakes. Or even on pie. Not saying whipped cream is the same as soft serve. But just pointing out that I tend to like things as they are, and not with something extra on top. But, if you think I should get it with soft serve, then I will. Hmm, I guess without the soft serve, then it's just root beer, right? Also, should I get it with cheese curds, or onion rings? How good are their onion rights? When you bite into it, does the onion fall out? Carls Jr. is one of the few places that makes onion rings where the onion doesn't fall out after biting into it. Most other fast food or restaurants fail in this area. They also have a "Spicy Papa Sauce", so that should go well with the cheese curds or onion rings. www.awrestaurants.com/menu(Click on Sides).

I went to A&W today. I ordered a Root Beer Float. But they said the machine was broken. So I still don't think I've had one from there. I ordered cheese curds. The regular size is enough. It was pretty good. I got it with Finger Lickin' Sauce. That kind of tasted like a mustard sauce, to me. They didn't carry Spicy Papa Sauce. They said they were aware of it, but that their store didn't carry it.
I ended up getting their regular Root Beer, from the dispenser.
It tastes better when it's from the dispenser, than from a can.

I went back to the A&W.
Had their large root beer float.
It was good. The employee confirmed that it's soft serve. That's fine, the vanilla flavor tastes good.
When it melts, it tastes like their cream soda.

I had BillLaimbeer's root beer float yesterday. It's drive through only right now. I can't remember the last time I went through drive through at any restaurant. I'm always the type of person that likes to go inside, and stare at the menu.

Good.
I rarely drink soda, only a few times a year.
I'm thinking that those few times when I want one, I should "go big" and get these root beer floats. Might as make the most of those times.
I would have gotten cheese curds, but I was in New Orleans in February, and had enough fried food for a while.
