he was supposed to save the Tigs single-handedly
just wasn't that awesome

I always like him. He was pretty solid his first 5 seasons:
2003: 6-19 (he was only 20 and the Tigers were god awful)
2004: 11-13
2005: 14-13
2006: 14-8, 4.58 ERA, led the MLB in starts with 34
2007: 11-9
2008 and 2009: Injuries (blood clot, then shoulder injury)
2010: 8-10, 5.53 ERA
2011 and 2012: Released by Tigers, not much interest until the Mariners signed him to a minor league deal
2013: Started 7 games, a few with Seattle than returned to Detroit
He made over $40 million during his career.

I had him in fantasy in 2006. I thought he was progressing nicely but didn't see much improvement after 2007. I guess it was the injuries, but he never bounced back either.
