Starts with a drafting of a #8 pick.
Consensus says it'll be a Defensive player.
Though TE is a big need and WR almost as much.
Edge rusher, CB, S and OLB are much needed.
We've done pretty good with free agents. Landing Trey Flowers, Danny Amendola
CJ Anderson, Jesse James and Justin Coleman. That's some serious depth Bob Quinn added.

They took the TE, T.J.Hockenson
The truth is in the pudding if we win it's a good pick.
If we don't fire Quinn.

Some would say the Lions drafted better as the draft went on. They found a CB and DE with solid production.
As for needs QB and coaching ?

Lions give $9M to former Pro-Bowler Micheal Roberts. Green Bay wouldn't pay him $8M. Now the DL is all beat-up now in camp, but you will not be able to run on Det.

So how do you stop the passing game then?

They seem to do okay. The Lions should be able to get more pressure on the QB this year with the additions they made.

Lions don't have a good record against Zona the past decade, but this is a winnable game.

Reach Pick You know at airport security when they ask if your bags have been with you at all times? We have the same question about your draft. Or at least we're questioning the decision to draft Hockenson in the 5th round, about eight rounds earlier than his ADP of 128. Hockenson is projected to score 108 fantasy points this season with the Lions. Hockenson will slot in as the No. 1 TE for SmackMaster's, according to projected points. --------------------------------------- TE New Player Note T.J. Hockenson Det - TE
