BillLaimbeer, I know it's not the Tigers, but this is pretty big. Cora, Hinch, and Beltran have all been fired. Beltran didn't even manage 1 game for the Mets. The Astros were wearing buzzers in 2019 on the inside of their jerseys. The Altuve walk-off in the playoffs is now ruined. Jim Crane has to be forced to sell. There should also be the Pete Rose banishment. I remember Altuve had those excuses about why he didn't want his jersey ripped off. He said "I'm shy" and "My wife got mad last time". I didn't understand why his wife would get so mad. It's not like cheerleaders would rush from the stands and start oiling his bare chest. "I'm shy" makes more sense than the wife thing, but at the same time, I guess I said ok, make he's in the doghouse for something else and just has to keep his wife happy. I guess it was because he was wearing a buzzer. He then ran inside the clubhouse, during the home run video review, and took the buzzer off. Then came back out to celebrate. We don't have any evidence of the buzzers yet. If something ever comes out, that will be a game changer. A title could be stripped.

The players were given immunity, which is why some of this is coming out. That's garbage. So they'll go unpunished. Punishing Cora, Hinch, Beltran, does little. Jim Crane, and the players, are the most responsible. As well as the video coordinator. I understand the MLB was in a tough position. If they don't offer immunity, then it's hard to find out what really happened. But having the players go unpunished is not good. Don't offer immunity, and just keep investigating. Try harder to find the truth. |
