I tried it all 3 ways all 403 forbidden, I tried "in private" no go.
what I'm trying to do is make the site an icon. It will show part of the name in it.

when it says forbidden, I delete - https:// - then all that's left is "www.pistonsforum.freeforums.net" but then the address bar reads - pistonsforum.freeforum.netnow when I post this it drops the "https://" , so in blue you just see - pistonsforum.freeforums.net |

Can you post a screen shot of the icon you're trying to create? Include the address bar. The last one, without the www, is correct. I know what you mean about the forum removing the https:// when you post a URL. That's why I put mine in quotes, so it wouldn't omit it. So if the address bar has "https://pistonsforum.freeforums.net/", that is correct. There shouldn't be a "www". But maybe if I see a screen shot, I can find what the problem might be. Thanks. If I can't figure out the problem, I'll try asking on the support forums. It's easy enough to fix, I just remove [https://] and I'm in.
My I.T. guy says ssl is needed only if you do cash transactions. And they want ~$80.00 for the certificate.
