The season is 60 games long.
These games are postponed. They are supposed to be made up. If many more games get cancelled, it will be hard to squeeze in 60 games.
Time will tell how long this season lasts....

Everyone is going to end up with a different number of games played, at the end.
A lot of games won't be made up.

That asterisk looks too good. Should be smaller and to the side. Looks space stuff.

Tigers sweep the Pirates. Their first road series sweep since June 2018.
Detroit is 8-5.

Mon, Aug 17
Tigers general manager Al Avila announced that the club will call up top prospects Casey Mize and Tarik Skubal to make their major league debuts this week against the White Sox.
Advice: The club is also calling up prospect shortstop Isaac Paredes. Skubal is slated to pitch on Tuesday while Mize will go on Wednesday. Mize, who holds a 2.71 ERA, 0.967 WHIP and 120/26 K/BB ratio over 123 minor league innings, will understandably get most of the attention here. He's a must-grab where he's still available in fantasy leagues. However, don't overlook Skubal. The 23-year-old southpaw had a 2.42 ERA and 179/37 K/BB ratio over 122 2/3 innings between High-A and Double-A last year and entered 2020 as a top-50 prospect according to Baseball America and MLB Pipeline. He also qualifies as a must-pickup in mixed leagues. The Tigers sit at 9-10 on the year and have a legitimate shot at sneaking into a Wild Card spot with the expanded playoff structure. These prospects could make things interesting as far as that is concerned. Fun times in Detroit.

Why isn't Skubal actually pitching innings like a starter?

BillLaimbeer, what are your thoughts on the Tigers now? Who do you think is doing better than expected?

They have to baby these young guys, for some reason. Only pitch 60-70 pitches. It's about getting experience and learning at the big league level.
Tigers are doing better than what most thought. They are still really bad, but I like watching and dreaming for the future.

They're not made of porcelain.
Let them go more and see how they handle it.

They're not made of porcelain. Let them go more and see how they handle it. So far, Gardy has been pulling them when they are struggling. It's not like they were pitching great and getting pulled.

BillLaimbeer, are there any opposing teams you see that don't restrict their SPs as much?
