I work in a public library. We gave away free solar glasses but they went fast. There is absolutely nowhere to get them anymore.

Good meme. Thanks.

Where did you aim your camera?
I brought my point-and-shoot, but I used it based off the projection box, not off the sun/moon directly.
What exact mirror effect setting did you use?
I'll upload pics later.

I played in a golf tournament today and it got a little weird. Unfortunately, it was a bit overcast, so it was even darker than it should have been. The officials were close to blowing the horn due to darkness, but they ended up letting us play on. Temp definitely dropped 10 degrees, the wind stopped, and the crickets started chirping.

Pics: imgur.com/a/8Yrmf/layout/gridFrom my projection box: The first 5 pictures were taken at about 10:34 AM. I think the 1st, 4th, and 5th picture show a partial sun being covered in the bottom left corner of the sun? Either that, or there appears to be a tiny bit of darkness in the immediate circumference around the sun. I'm not sure how much of this is because of the shape of my pinhole. I don't notice anything unusual with my sun projection in the 3rd eclipse picture, though. The 6th picture was at 12:58 PM. The sun looks fully round. The 7th was at 7:06 PM. Sun looks full again.

Also, can anyone help me find a good radio program that discussed yesterday's eclipse? Either from NASA, or even one of the regular sports shows that approached the topic yesterday.

I'm already over yesterday's eclipse. I'm getting ready for the 2024 eclipse. In fact, I just booked a hotel room in Pine Bluff, Arkansas for that week.

Thoughts on my pictures from the projection box, and what you see?
