Chicago White Sox vs. Houston Astros:
Houston has the better offense, White Sox the better bullpen.
This might be a long series, but I'll pick a short one.
Houston in 3.
Boston Red Sox vs. Tampa Bay Rays:
Tampa Bay has never had an offense this good before.
I know they have a lot of young pitchers, I haven't watched them yet. I guess they're good, but I'm just making some assumptions based on their limited IP data.
Tampa Bay in 3.
Atlanta Braves vs. Milwaukee Brewers:
Kind of like the old recent Nationals, the Braves lose a lot early. I have to see them win a series, before I can believe it.
Meanwhile, Milwaukee has done that a few times.
Last year doesn't really count for Atlanta.
Plus Milwaukee keeps remaking their offense.
Milwaukee in 4.
Atlanta Milwaukee Milwaukee Milwaukee
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. San Francisco Giants:
Like the Denver Nuggets, I've picked the San Francisco Giants to lose almost every series since 2010. I want to stop that for this series, because they deserve some credit for having the best record in the league.
If the Giants win, it will be a long series. If the Dodgers win, it can be any amount of games.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the Dodgers are the first team to be undefeated heading into the World Series, in the wild card era.
The Giants SP is a mystery bag. Their offense is pretty good.
This isn't about home field, it just looks that way.
San Francisco in 5.

LaRussa > the other coaches

White Sox are down 0-2.
Overall I think LaRussa has done a good job this season, except for this incident:
1) Yermin Mercedes started off the year off great. However, he had a dispute with Mercedes, and it got so bad that he just retired from MLB mid season.
The dispute was that Mercedes swung on a 3-0 pitch and hit a HR, when the other team had a position player pitch. LaRussa says you shouldn't swing when the other team has a position player pitching, especially not on a 3-0 count.
LaRussa and Mercedes never got over the dispute.
I agree with Mercedes on that one, if the other team is throwing pitches, whoever it is, you have to swing.

Boston Red Sox vs. Houston Astros:
Both have good offenses, I'll go with Houston. Will every game have at least 6 runs scored?
Houston in 6.
Boston Houston Boston Houston Houston Houston
MVP: Jose Altuve
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Atlanta Braves:
Braves have a good offense, Dodgers are good all around.
Los Angeles in 4.
MVP: Mookie Betts.
Betts with 3 stolen bases, 5 doubles.

I thought they would block Stros out of P/Os, for last years cheating ?

I thought they would block Stros out of P/Os, for last years cheating ? No, the players got no punishment.
The only punishment was for Alex Cora (bench coach), a fine to the owner, and the manager.
Manfred made a deal with the players that they wouldn't get punished, if they told what happened.
It sucks.
With that said, I'm a little conflicted because I like their new manager, Dusty Baker. He's taken 5 different teams to the playoffs.

I think this will be a long series, probably tied 2-2 after 4 gams.

Chevy Vehicle: Probably a bad pick, but Tahoe again.
