Admin: Or, as someone suggested, for game threads. It would make it hard to find and read non-live game threads though, since they would all be contained here. It was just a built-in plugin

BillLaimbeer: In a game thread, you talk about the game before, during, and after the actual game. You have a permanent record of those discussions. In a game chat, you interactively talk about the game while it's going on. After it is over, tho,there is no chat record.
