I’ll be happy for my one son who has had no ties to Michigan since aga 6 so stuck with the Eagles.. If I think of it and know it’s on I will check the score a couple times if close . I don’t watch pro football on TV. No interest. A couple people text me. They just think I care but I truly don’t. I was excited about Detroit for a little bit...but feel little true connection. I can name Tate, Staff, Abdullah, M jones, and Ebron. Nobody on D. And ex coach Caldwell and Austin. Nobody else and some Eagles.

Brady was obviously great in the game. But Foles was equally impressive IMO. He was right on the money with almost every throw, even when he was on the move.
The 4th down conversion with about 4:30 left in the game was very gutsy. The announcers made a big deal about the 4th and goal from the 1.5 yard line, but to me, that was the obvious percentage play (about 50% conversion rate, which would give an EV of about 3.5 points vs a FG with an EV about about 2.9 ppoints).
But the one in crunch time would have left PHI in a horrible position if they would have missed it. NE would have received the ball on the outskirts of FG range and could have milked the clock down and gone up by 4. I think that most coaches would have punted and tried to get the ball back with 2 min or so. Not saying that most coaches would have been right, but I think the call was probably closer to 50/50 and it took guts to make the call they did.
