I saw someone with a Nuggets # 41 jersey. He had a backpack on so I couldn't see the back. Which of these players do you think it was? www.basketball-reference.com/teams/DEN/numbers.htmlTom Boswell 1979-1980 Arvid Kramer 1980 Blair Rasmussen 1986-1991 LaSalle Thompson 1997 James Posey 2000-2003 Mark Pope 2004-2005 Kosta Koufos 2011-2013 Juan Hernangomez 2017-2018

So you think it was possibly a custom jersey with his own name on the back? This person also made the effort to get an older style Nuggets jersey, one from several designs ago, not a newer one. Where do you personally draw the line between getting a player's jersey or shirt, and not? What does the player have to accomplish, to you? To me, I like getting under the radar players. Anyone can get a star player, but if I can explain why I got an under the radar player, and talk about some memorable moments, then I'm a fan that follows the team closely. I'd get a player, for example, if he dove a lot of loose balls and hustled. I also always like looking for the most unusual player shirt/jersey when at a game. I once went to a game, and someone had a Minnesota Randy Foye jersey, even though neither Minnesota nor Randy Foye were even playing.

If I were an Astros fan, and they won this World Series, I'd get a Brad Peacock shirt.
This is the kind of under-the-radar but memorable performance that would inspire me to honor him.

I'd say that guy is a Juan Hernangomez fan.

Why doesn't it follow the current color scheme though? The "Nugget" is gold colored. With a red outline on the letters and numbers. Whereas they've been using a power blue base since 2003, and with yellow (not gold) lettering since 2015. www.sportslogos.net/logos/list_by_team/229/Denver_Nuggets/The alternate road jerseys are yellow. Here are the Juan Hermangomez jerseys I can find. Home Whites: Alternate Whites: Road Power Blue: Alternate Road Yellow: New 2017-2018 jersey with Nike and Western Union Logo: Neither matches the dark blue with gold letters that the person above has.

I guess if he wasn't wearing headphones, I could have asked him.
Also, the way I see it (with picking under the radar players to get shirts/jerseys), is that you don't even know how to spell "Justin" or anything about him to get a Verlander shirt/jersey.
But if you pick someone else, then there's probably an interesting reason why. So I'd want to know what the inspiration was.

He may have his own name on the back of this jersey.
