Happy Halloween 2017.
Describe or post pictures of any interesting costumes you see.
I'll post one I saw from 2013, when I can. It required two people.

I don't give out candy. I give out Halloween puns instead. These are my top 10 Halloween puns:
"What kind of music did the mummies play at the Halloween party? Wrap."
"Why didn’t the ghost dance at the Halloween party? He had no body to dance with."
"Why did the ghost have to leave the Halloween party early? He couldn’t handle his boo’s."
"Why don't witches like to ride their brooms when they're angry? They're afraid of flying off the handle."
"Who did Frankenstein take to the prom? His ghoul friend."
"What kind of monster is safe to put in the washing machine? A wash and wear wolf."
"How did the Great Pumpkin fix the hole in his pants? With a pumpkin patch."
"Why did the mummy call the doctor? Because he was coffin."
"Where does Dracula water ski? On Lake Erie."
The Westin hotel chain has opened a new hotel for zombies just in time for Halloween: the Westin Peace.
"What was the witch's favorite subject in school? Spelling."

If someone knows the answers to all of these, you should give them candy.
It could be like a game show at your door.

You can't go wrong with Mario...

You can't go wrong with Mario... I do like how Luigi wore Mario on his back, and vice versa. The "doctor" and "patient in the wheelchair" is even more surprising, though. I've never seen that one before.

Something specific about the way they did it, or just the idea itself? Just the idea... Thanks. BTW, it might not make a difference, but I don't work in a hospital, or even in the health care industry. I can see how it's a bad idea if it's done in a health care building, or somewhere where other patients or people who use wheelchairs, are present.

Happy Halloween 2018. BillLaimbeer's two favorite days of the year are 7 months apart! April Fool's Day, and Halloween. What interesting costumes are you seeing today on the way to work, or around town?

Lots of super heroes. Nothing very creative.

What interesting costumes are you seeing today on the way to work, or around town? 21 trick-or-treaters at my house tonight. This was a good number since my candy supply was running low. Lots of super heroes. Nothing very creative.21 seems low overall, but if it's in line with the candy supply, then that's good. I was watching a kids video on Halloween, and all of the actors were wearing either super hero costumes, or some other commercialized entity. It was disappointing to see Halloween become so commercialized. After a while, it doesn't seem as original. Maybe if that's what kids like, then that's fine. But I also think part of the fun is making a costume when one's own creativity added to it. I think having a costume like the devil, or Dracula, etc. allows for a little more creativity. As there isn't one way someone has to make them look. I did see a kid yesterday wearing something that almost looked like the V for Vendetta mask (from the movie). Not sure if that's what the kid was going for, but I appreciated how it wasn't as generic.
