My 1st game back as a Lions fan. Wearing new Stafford jersey for 1at time. Don't have cable.I only watch TV for sports. Need to get a radio. Maybe a larger antenna might work for TV. . Cannot stream on my phone once game begins. So I watch the game-cast or whatever it is called where the stats pop up. 1st Qtr. Stafford 1st throw is a pick 6. Then an Az. Fg. 10-0. I've cursed them again. I text Lame and bitch. He says it's only 1st Qtr. Yeah, ok, Bill but thanks anyhow. Oh, so I check. Eagles up 13-0. Ive ignored them totally after my change back to Leos when I moved back to Michigan. (I stated publicly prior to the move I was considering it) 2nd Qtr. Lions TD. 2 pt conv. fails. I don't like Ruddick. Not because of M connection but because I thought he sucked and was shocked Lions signed him. Now they lost Kaya. The GM is really good but IMO that was a huge error. 6-10 . 3rd Qtr or early 4th? 15-6 Game over. I fall askeep 2 minutes later reading. I think I dreamed about the game and I didn't know how long I was out. So... 4th Qtr still going. I'm in shock. 35-15?  OMG!!! (Note they did all this in the 10 or so minutes I was unconscious)! So while I'm awake Cards score 35-23. I keep watching the highlights. Not only were those TD's incredible and it isn't often you see so many happen in one game let alone 1 Qtr. Only one game but HUGE. If they can only take 2 of next 5 the rest of the scedule looks quite favorable at 3-3 going in. Maybe they win 2nd playoff game in my lifetime? Hey, the way they looked today with the superb Defense I'm thinking insane thoughts like NFC championship or even...Crazy I know. |

Sorry Jr. I just now saw this. All very intriguing questions. I really made it a mission to ignore them. I don't think I would have the answers even if I did follow them. People seem to think they are going to be good this year.
If you're thinking about it from a fantasy perspective I think they are all scary to draft. However, Thee picked up Agholor today and I grabbed Wentz. Those two seem to have a connection. All those receivers together with Ertz finally give someone to throw to. With Jim Shwartz working with the D the offense should profit. I can tell you when Layne Johnson was in the game in the Wentz thrived. Throw in my jumping off the bandwagon and good things may happen. It will be fun as a double agent watching the Lions clip their wings in the NFC Chamoionship game!

2-0 Baby! I think they are showing their appreciation for me junping back on the train!  Huge win and now on to play one of two other NFC undefeated teams. Who would have thiught the Leos woulld begin their hellish first 6 games with two victories??? Woohoo! |
