What smack? I never ever said a bad word against the Lions. I'm glad I'm back. The Eagles got me back into the NFL. For that I'm grateful.
Had lots of fun. Considered going back to the Lions even before the move back here. The Eagles served their purpose. If Detroit had won a SB I would've dropped dead. I jumped on the D train before the season began and things weren't so bright.

I kept telling someone ( BL ?) during the draft "ok. They're drafting an rb here. Nope. Seems like thecan find some UFA that veats what they have (excluding Abdulla). Is it the O line that sucks? The running game is what will kill them in the end. Vetter protect Stafford. No wonder he sucked. After the first play (sack) he was probably gearing footsteps even when they weren't there. Yeah, he made bad plays but no wonder. |

Eagles beat Pants with some pressure. 3 sacks
got the somewhat lucky T/Os but Cam run for much more. 7 compared to 71 and still shot down the Pant runners.
all other stats about the same as the Lion game

Back when mlive was previewing the season they said Saints 27-24 or so.
I said more like 45-41 Saint
Some one said 41 pt. from a team that hasn't scored 31 in 10 games ?

WTF?? What kind of an idiot escapes from HELL and then willingly walks back in??? Eagles 5-1. Salt in my wounds.
That being said I don't think too many people expected the Lions to be 3-3 at this point because of the tough schedule. Next is Pittsburgh so 3-4 but that Green Bay game at Lambaugh looks a lot friendlier without Mr. Rodgers in the neighborhood. How many decades has it been? Lions win this 4-4. The last 8 are much easier on paper.
BTW Thee. I saw a comment (along with other choice ones) about you spending money on the Pittsburgh Defense and it amounted to zero wins. Well, you probably could have nabbed them for $2 instead of $20 + you paid for them. But, not to make you feel better but your only win came against me and you beat me by about 4 points. Well, Pittsburgh dropped 16 points on my arse and without at least 12 or so from your defense you lose. But after squeezing by nemo you remain in the playoff hunt. You have the best team in the league now. It was Junior (i think that remains the same, regardless) but I beat Junior and you beat me so you're the man! And somehow you managed it with by far the fewest points. Brilliant strategy!!1

3-4 of you guys have been cheap about adding players, and blamed the commie err commish.
how did you know what I spent ? musta did some dick work. I got somebody else for $20+ too.
I guess you guys thought you could add 30 players at $3 a piece. That was disrespectful of the
talent in this league.

Quite unfair. .I've been in contact with him all season so I'm sure he realizes that I wasn't blaming him. Maybe I wasn't clear when I was bitching. It is the system I don't like. I feel like I need to overspend my overspend because I'm stuck being a bottom feeder all year so I've hardly bothered even trying. Plus I still don't fully understand it and we were given no instructions . Only told it was "strategy". But how can I use strategy if I don't even understand the rules? The info online is often wrong or doesn't apply to our league.

I'm guessing he's doing a good job First you defended him and now this. Anyhow, he didn't bring up the FAAB and in fact opposed it at one point. Nothing to bi gained bringing up stuff you believe happened in past years. If you run for commissioner next year I'm guessing he will gladly hand over the reigns. IF I were playing I wouldn't have objected to changing as long as you didn't implement huge changes without first bringing it up for discussion. I think we should get back to the Leos now. They need our help. |
