Leos are done for a couple weeks at least. I think there are 3-4 forumites in my league I made 3 places for IR and it doesn't work.

Panthers waived Kaya. Will the Lions give him a shot or does he suck??

you guys all wanted this league knowing the commish was grooving pitches for his son. he's always been like this, he does that so his son won't desert him in old age. I'm guessing he's doing a good job You're ridiculous.

I think we should get back to the Leos now. They need our help. Let the Lions team logo face painting of you and your kid, begin.

there is an article in the Detroit news today.
Jake Ruddick is ranked #27 for back up quarterbacks.
Even Kellen Moore was ranked 23
Stanton is 14
Kaya on waivers
I would prefer any of them to the piece of shit we have right now. But what do I know?

Just when I think the Lions have run out of new creative ways to lose games they prove me wrong. Bad coaching. A weapon short. I honestly thought things would change this year. Honestly, I thought they had something with that start. One more tough game and it lightens up. A half century late and yet another few inches short. They pointed out how Stafford had dog crap running backs his entire career. So like, seriously, the GM couldn't draft one? Stafford has done an incredible job with nothing. It was painful to see Barry in the booth. Just cruel. I feel like I wasted three hours. Both MSU and the Lions made this a crappy football week for me. Damn.

They go for it on 4th when a FG would have taken the lead. Then they kick the FG from the goal line when they were down 8.
What a frustrating game. We were the better team with space. Maybe we should have made more of an effort to punch it in from the 20 instead of compressing their D deep in the red zone. The Lions have looked good all year, even in losses. They are clearly better than their record.

@c. J. -Bite Me thee- Agreed. Which for me made the loss all the more frustrating. tas- good post. @everyone- everyone I know is giving me hell overr the Eagles. I was thinking of returning to the Lions anyhow but the move to Michigan was the icing on the cake. CURSED LOSER. I had so much fun with the Eagles. Even though they were up and down. The Lions start got me excited but now I'm already losing interest in the NFL. I will go down with the Lions ship now but it isn't only that they lose. It's the way they lose that takes your heart out. They were decent when I was gone but now it's like I never left. Ho hum...another Sunday. Maybe IF they win 2-3 games in a row it will pique my interest again. I don't care very much about my fantasy team but checking the stats 4 or 5 times a day on Sunday and maybe a couple times Thursday and Monday is the only thing that will keep me connected I guess. I just sat there the entire game Sunday without emotion. I was pretty sure they would mess up. Is Caldwell really a good coach? If he really had a contract for months why hide it? Who the hell does that and why? I think he got off to that good start and that's when they really decided to extended him.

a FG 1pt lead wouldn't have lasted 5 min. they needed a touch or 2

a FG 1pt lead wouldn't have lasted 5 min. they needed a touch or 2 Unfortunately will never know. I realize it's easy for me to be a Monday morning quarterback but what ticks me off is their incompetence. They had like 8 chances or more to punch it in from the friggin' one yard line not to mention like 4 attempts from the five. . Can't the coaching staff come up with a bloody play for that? Couldn't Stafford just hold the ball and dive in?? I've never in my life to the best of my recollection seen that before in ANY level of football leagues. College, High School, Junior High, WTF? What a bunch of bozos. Why even bother passing for 400+ yards? To tease is. A . They've lost two games by mere inches. I must be insane or mentally challenged to go back to this piece of shit franchise. I could be soaring well above cloud nine with the Eagles. My brother was right. I asked him why he wasn't excited about the Lions start before they lost what? 4 of 5 or something? He said "I'll get excited after they WIN a playoff game. You poor souls are so beaten down you accept this sorry shit. I rooted for a real franchise for 8 years so I know. Yeah, the Eagles had some ups and downs but I think those may have been my favorite NFL years in my entire life!!! Even the freakin Cubs made it timingz

If Caldwell gets fired its for this loss right there What do you think, Thee? I say less than 10 wins they should move on. Was last year dumb luck? Except Caldwell came from the Dantonio school (without savior status). Run Run 3rd and long Pass Run Run. 3rd and long Pass. Repeat. Down after down. Game after game. Sooooo...he watched the MSU game Nothing better to do but watch game film on the Packers. Boring. He already knows what to do...run run pass. Dantonio said "Oh wow! My QB can make plays. I can change the routine and run out the clock midway through the 3rd Qtr. with a 7 point lead. True. We will give the ball back after 8 three and outs but... OK. Dantonio's come through big time. Caldwell? Boring and predictable. Maybe a little above mediocre. Why pay a player the richest contract ever to hand the ball off? A trained monkey could easily hand off. Bananas are cheap. Heck, with rigorous training I bet Bill Laimbeer would do it. Bananas won't be enough and he will wisely hold out until the Lions throw in some apples. But I digress. What is the biggest mind fack the Lions could do to us? A new Calvin Johnson/Marvin Jones rule? Nah. Another close loss? Close win. Get blown out? The answer is tease us by blowing out Green Bay on the road. Detroit 33 Green Bay 13 Sooner or later they will win again (0-16 season aside). They will even score a TD inside the 6 yard line. Well maybe I'm pushing it now. You heard it here first folks. Just like my NFC Championship prediction.

Well maybe I'm pushing it now. You heard it here first folks. Just like my NFC Championship prediction. I predicted 33-13. It was 30-17.pretty close for a change.it was still a blowout. Coming out of that schedule at 4-4 was better than expected. Great win. Abdullah should gave been pulled earlier. Is he related to L.J. Scott on MSU? Now the funny thing was that I had Detroits Defense in fantasy and they gave up a TD after GB drove the length of the field with 1:45 left and the worst QB in the league and was awarded a play at the one at the end with 0:00 on the clock due to a penalty. So lost by 1.5 points to the only team in the league outscoring me. Detroit will always screw me one way or another ;-). But the real game is what mattered to me so I'm happy! ! :-) Except the Eagles are running circles around the rest of the league and I'm on the outside looking in. Like I said, I'm really glad Detroit won. Even when I was excited about the great start I haven't experienced the joy I had with Philly. I was so into them and have all their stuff. The Lions just were NEVER as fun for me and I'm already losing interest in the NFL again. The Philly fans were idiots but they have a wonderful passion I never sensed here. Bummer. Well, for some reason we feel obligated to root for the team we grew up near. I don't like bandwagoners but I didnt pick the Patriots. I wanted to have hope and enjoy football so I picked a mediocre team and felt guilty. But I'm stuck now. That being said I think you should be able to choose whoever you want to root for. As a kid we played football and all got these nice replica helmets. They were ten bucks which was a lot at the time. One guy got the Lions but others had the Raiders, Rams. Me? I loved the Packers because of Bart Starr, Ray Nitchskie (sp.) and others. But they were in the Lions division so when I switched I couldn't pick them. Changing was one thing but rooting against tbe Lions twice a year? Not in my DNA. I know the Eagles catchy theme song by heart. I think Detrits is gridiron heroes or something. Never knew it or even the theme song. We all root for the Lions but just seem to accept losing. At least it seems rhat way. Most Philly calllers were dicks but they all had passion and lived and bled green. I am glad I really loved the NFL for those 8 years so I will always have THAT. So I will roit for these losers and get suckered by them to the end of my days. I onky could name around 5 players. This after a feel good win.wont feel so good after they lose to the pathetic Browns or Bears in the next week or two, I say this after a WIN! But I'm back in the groove already. Like I said I'm stuck with my decision. We also all had second baseball teams. I was the Phillies, of course. Another had the Nets, Indians, Pirates, etc. i was so happy when Philly wobn the series with Pere Rose. Early 80's I think. "Yes we can" was the motto. . Caldwell must be a good coach in some ways but he seems like he is afraid to use his great rich QB. No. Let Abdullah run it. He's safe. NOT. What pro fumbles twice in a game? Even has the OPPORTUNITY to do so? Detroit has a great QB and Jones and Tate catch the ball when it is thrown to them. Their great plays get wasted too. A team consistently cannot punch it in from the one. WTF?
