Obama has MS winning it all Didn’t he predict that the year Mid. Tenn. crushed them? I had Arizona out round 2 so the upset helped me. Some people had them in the finals and semis. Ouch. I predicted some meaningless upsets in round one (i.e.I had them out in round 2 anyhow). So I’m tied for last in points (4 behind the leader) but more importantly I’m tied for first in “possible points remaining”. I know nothing about a single team outside the big ten so I tookban hour or so to look at brackets, etc. I don’t think Michigan will go as far as people think but I believe I knocked them off to early (to Houston). I have Duke winning. So IF they and MSU square off and MS loses (of course they will lose to their poison Duke) I will at least have a little consolation.I wouldn’t be shocked if Bucknell beats them. At least as long as I’m in the race the tourney will hold my interest. I listened to all the MSU games (a rarity) so I hope they win 3 games or more. As far as the tourney, there are 8 teams so given my lack of basketball knowledge, 1st place I’ve won a couple of these blind but bomb more often.so farmt chance. 2nd place- unlikely but miraculously Ive taken two silvers in a row in fantasy football. 3rd- I would be very happy with a bronze. Maybe will happen 4th I would be happy here too. Top half. 5th- not bad. Odds are I end up here 6th or 7th or here. yuck. 8th- how embarrassing! Especially finishing below Bill Laimbeer. I’m not watching but I check scores. I can’t get CBS usually but I wouldn’t watch any but MSU even if I could. Can’t watch the Lions either but I want nothing to do with the NFL. It’s been a curse. |
