That would work for the Pistons but wouldn't really do much for the Cavs. I think the Cavs hold onto Kyrie unless they get a really good offer. I think the Cavs should just bring back David Blatt and the team will start getting along. Blatt's influence is sorely needed.

That would be a great trade for the Pistons but whoever is the GM at the Cavs would probably hang up pretty fast.

I bet the Cavs are probably just hoping this all goes away and Kyrie decides to stay.

Do you want Kyrie suiting up for Detroit next year? No.

No, not for that price anyway. I also think, Irving is somehow overrated.

The Pistons shouldn't even consider a multiplayer deal for Kyrie Irving unless Uncle Drew is part of the package.

How far could we go with that one guy ? I would do it, somehow.

How far could we go with that one guy ? I would do it, somehow. It would depend on who we gave up in the exchange. We are probably a #8 seed in the East with our current roster. If we swapped Kyrie for Reggie, we probably have home court in the 1st round as a #4 seed.

Since you were blinded by KCP's hustle I don't know if I like your opinion.

He is really good. I'd give up just about any combination of players for him, except Dre.

MAYBE HAVING SUCH GOOD PLAYERS AROUND HIM the defensive pressure wasn't on him and he was able to shoot more relaxed ?

He is really good. I'd give up just about any combination of players for him, except Dre. I have this quarter and a few nickles, dimes and IOU:s. You can have any combination of them for your dollar bill, except the quarter. DATA: Kyrie/ DreAge: 24/ 23 $$$: $19MM/ $22MM PER: 23.0/ 20.9 WS: 8.9/ 6.7 eFG: .535/ .531 Kyrie has 2 more years on his contract + another season with a player option Dre has 3 more years on his contract + another season with a player option Dre has an 8% trade kicker in his contract. So, if he gets traded, his salary increases by 8%, making it a $2.7MM raise. Kyrie has a 15% trade kicker in his contract. So, his raise would be $2.8MM. So, we would be trading a $21.7MM guy for a $24.7MM guy. Does that work? Wouldn't Cleveland have to add more guys or draft picks to the deal? We can't trade for a 3rd point guard and lose our starting center. That would leave us way too imbalanced and desperate for more trades. One other factor is that if Kyrie gets traded, he loses his eligibility for the supermax contract in the future, where he could earn 35% of the team's salary cap. Not sure if he'd be in line for that anyway... and I guess he is demanding the trade, so that's his problem.

What about Reggie/Drummond for Kyrie/Tristan Thompson? Would Cleveland have any interest in this? It works: ESPN Trade Machine

It works: ESPN Trade MachineI can see an interest in Drummond but I don't think Reggie is tradable at this point. He is coming off a bad year. In conclusion, I would like to say that I don't think the Cavs want Reggie and therefore this trade fails.

Besides, is Tristan Thompson that good? In other words, is the delta between Kyrie/Reggie greater than the delta between TT/Drummond?
The only way Detroit should be interested in this is if they can pair Kyrie with Drummond. That means Reggie would have to go. Since Cavs probably don't want Reggie, we'll need a 3rd team to facilitate. We dump Reggie, young talent and draft picks to team X, team X sends talent to Cleveland, we get Kyrie. Long long shot, but I just don't see the Cavs agree to any straight up trade with us.

TT = .498 FT% and 6'9" @240 lb 8ppg 9rpg I don't know what people see in him. If we lose Dre we go sideways. Does BlueV deserve another year ?
