If Detroit loses to Chicago they will seriously hurt their chances. This is a game within the division.
Here is the Lions game plan
1st down- run 80% of the time.
2nd down if less than 5 yards needed-run. More than 5-short pass. 5 exactly 50/50
3rd down pass - length determined by circumstances
They keep a leash on Stafford until they are up the creek.
Bears game plan
1.They know the Lions game plan. Just need to figure out which type of run or pass.
2. Don't mess up like Cleveland by taking a two score lead and force Caldwell to use Stafford too early.
3. As soon as the Lions get in the red zone intentionally let them advance the ball to the one yard line.
Prediction: OT Bears 27 Lions 20
Probability of Bears victory is 66%
Why will they lose? The burden of proof is on you...why will they win?

Golladay is back, he opens up the outside. as soon as Bears shut down the run Riddick draws the LBs away from EE whom drops 3 TD passes. Lions win 10-3 on QB fumble returned for TD

Detroit up 21-17 at the half. Time for Cooter and Cakdwell to put a leash on Stafford and milk the clock.
Detroit D making Trubisky look like A. Rodgers and Howard like B. Sanders. Seriously. CHICAGO with 17 at the half? U'm sensing a heartbreakeri in the making.

I'll take it. Ugly as the MSU win. Detroi sweeps the division on the road. Quite a feat. Thursday is a MUST win if the Lions hope to get to the playoffs!! Prater is the best.

Either the coaching is bad or the team overall isn't very good. Or both. Either way, it will be tough to beat a Vikings team clicking on all cylinders. Better come out aggressive and keep it or a loss is coming,IMO.
This feels like playing pretend. Kind of like MSU beating penn State and then getting a dose of reality from OSU. Unless things change this team isn't going anywhere. The defense seems confused, the offense is simply unimaginative, and the coaching is largely responsible. I think the only way they are going anywhere is if Stafford and the receivers are allowed to carry them. Oh, and Prater is unreal.

They keep a leash on Stafford until they are up the creek. Prediction: OT Bears 27 Lions 20 Probability of Bears victory is 66% Didn't watch this one but with Bears up early I could see this team is not P/O quality. I don't see them beating a competent Vike team even at home. The D has really lost its moxie.

Which means they MAY win. This is the schizophrenic Lions we are talking about. Caldwell don't play scared. Damn the torpedoes. This game is the season. My fear is he waits until we are losing by a couple scores. Vikes don't play that. This is so ironic my leaving the Eagles. Not only that but growing up in the 70s the Vikings were the team I hate it more than any other team. They've been a non-factor for a few years but now I'm back and so are they. Will they kill yet another season?

Stafford goes nuts at Lions win 45-10. Called it!! Well, you WERE closer than usual. I think we can give you the "W".That should boost your average to .138. Nice! *best to humor him right now and be done with it.I miss those things at the old forum where you could hide what you texted. It drove him nuts trying to figure out what we were laughing at. I thought Jr. Would let the cat out of the bag and tell him. I was wrong. Jr. had more posts than the rest of us put together*

Caldwell has handled the Vikes well, usually the Vikes had QB issues the last 3 seasons. this time he aint got the horses on D. looks like a firefight and we better not be standing on rocks

The lions look unprepared and uninspired. They had a lot of penalties and it was surprising that they were not blown out. So now the season is over. Stafford did not have his best day but the game plan was blasé and predictable. I think Jones and Tate are really good and underrated WR's. It seemed like they were the only ones who had their heads in the game. Golladay looks good too. The turnover wasn't entirely Abdullah's fault but he still should have hung on.
I guess they just wanted to get out of the locker room and take a shower and get to their turkeys. I think Caldwell sucks as an onfield manager and if the Vikings celebration of a pretend Thanksgiving dinner after the touchdown could not motivate those guys at home there is a big problem.

Yeah, this ones on Staffy. He was a beat slow against the pass rush. Didn't outsmart Griffin all game. Then late in the game they rolled his ankle. He had been throwing hi all game. Missed a walkin TD on that screen near the goal-line. Thankfully Jones got 2 so CJ don't walk all over me.

Even though this team is barely watchable, I'll probably watch it. Gutless offense and soft Dee. * Needs for next yr: 4 down RB DT LB WR since Goll can't stay on the field
