When do they close it? Can you post that, the next time you post the latest link?

When do they close it? Can you post that, the next time you post the latest link? It opens back up on Monday. The same link will work!

Same. Those should be the winners except Cobb is beating Kaline. Younger folks have heard of Cobb but can't appreciate Kaline.

Yeah. Age of voters play a role. I agree it will come down to all #1 seeds. Then
Zeke > Gordie
Barry > Cobb
Zeke > Barry
I don’t see how Sanders can win. Not his fault but no ships. I’ve wanted Zeke to win since day one and I think he will.

Zeke willed his teams to victory, can't say Bing had that much "will".

Zeke willed his teams to victory, can't say Bing had that much "will". Dave Bing was awesome. He averaged 27 ppg in 2 different seasons (with 4+ reb, 6+ ast those years, too). He just didn't have enough help to go deep in the playoffs.

He just didn't have enough help to go deep in the playoffs. Prior to Chuck Daly, Ray Scott (medalion) was arguably the greatest Piston coach ever. I think they fired him for this distinction. Anyhow, Bing also had Lanier and the other guys weren’t exactly scrubs so I’m not sure why they didn’t do better. I remember Bing got poked in the eye and while still successful I don’t think he was ever the same. IIRC he lost a good portion of his vision in that eye permanently or he would've finished with even better stats. Zeke deserves to win. He took an afterthought franchise and not only won ships but gave them the NBA version of the Oakland Raiders. Some teams were pissing on themselves just walking onto the court with them. Let’s not forget the unsung hero. Mahorn? Buddah? Nope. My vote goes to trader Jack. Arguably the best GM in modern Detroit history. Although the GM who built the Red Wings sneaking all the Ruskis out of their homeland was great too. There are some crazy stories that go along with that. Some dangerous stuff too.Took some giant cajones to take the risks.

Don’t fotget to vote on final four
Damn...Gordie obliterating Zeke. I called that wrong. And I wanted Zeke to win it all.
Forgot to check other match. Assuming Barry > Cobb
But Laimbeer may be right. It’s looking like Barry may win it all. if he plays Gordie later.

I didn’t expect it either. But it sounds like Sanders isn’t out of the running (no pun intended) yet. Lots of defenders thought he was in their grasp too. Uhmmm...I hope their isn’t racial bias (wether intended or not)? I thought Barry and Zeke were clear favorites. Not saying there is. All are worthy.

It's sad he could beat out one of (if not) the best running backs to ever play the game.

Barry was super humble. One year he could’ve won the rushing title. He only needed a couple yards to beat Emmit Smith (who finished his last game earlier that day). The coach told Barry to go in with a couple minutes remaining.. Barry said something like “No. I’m good. We already won this game”. Are you friggin’ kidding me?? What an odd bird. I’m still pissed off at him. I think the Lions got him with the second pick. But the best Detroit 2nd pick was Darko. They both had the letter “a” as the 2nd letter in their first name.

Darth, you've said you root for underdogs. Is there any player or team though that has won, or wins a lot, that you think is humble, and thus also someone you'd root for?

Darth, you've said you root for underdogs. Is there any player or team though that has won, or wins a lot, that you think is humble, and thus also someone you'd root for? In other sports sometimes. Depends on the situation and how it effects my team sometimes. I do think a lot of people rooting for the cubbies baeball.
